The Role
This position leads digital forensics operations supporting a federal homeland security environment around the clock. Day-to-day work includes conducting remote imaging, analysing digital media, reverse engineering malicious code, responding to email-based attacks, and applying kill-chain methodologies to detect and neutralise Advanced Persistent Threats across complex network infrastructures.
Skills & Experience
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and bring at least five years of security experience with a strong digital forensics focus. Required certifications include one from a defined list such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, CEH, or CASP, plus a DoD 8570 CSSP credential. Experience with VM sandboxing, malware analysis labs, and packet-level traffic analysis is preferred.
