Junior Digital Forensic Analyst

The Role

This position supports a federal cyber program by conducting forensic examinations of digital media, including mobile devices and storage drives. Day to day, the analyst recovers and analyzes digital evidence for criminal, cyber, and administrative investigations, ensuring all findings meet Department of Justice court-admissibility standards within an accredited laboratory environment.

Skills & Experience

Candidates should bring hands-on experience in digital forensics, including the examination of cellphones, tablets, and other digital media. Familiarity with advanced forensic tools, decryption methods, and evidence handling best practices is expected. Experience supporting law enforcement or government investigations is advantageous, and relevant forensic certifications are beneficial.
