The Role
Detectives in this unit recover, analyse, and preserve electronic evidence as their primary daily responsibility, working a four-day schedule with periodic on-call duties averaging one week per month. They also contribute to patrol staffing when operationally required and manage cases using specialist investigative techniques.
Skills & Experience
Candidates must have a minimum of three years of hands-on digital forensics experience in a detective capacity, with that work either current or completed within the past twelve months. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities are assessed through a scenario-based exercise during the selection process.
