Mobile forensic solutions provider Micro Systemation AB has launched a North American office, MSAB Inc., to provide direct sales, training, and technical support for its .XRY, .XACT, and other products…Headquartered in Washington, D.C., MSAB Inc. is responding to increased demand from all levels of government—federal, state and local—for versatile, field-based mobile forensics tools, as well as the training to support greater numbers of investigators using them.
“In the past, our products have been geared toward high-level federal and state digital forensic experts,” said Joel Bollӧ, CEO of Micro Systemation. “We are now broadening our scope to respond to front-line users’ needs. Specifically, state and local first responders must be able to perform data triage and other field-based forensic analysis, which would take months if sent to state or regional task force laboratories.”
With direct sales offices on the east and west coasts of the United States, MSAB Inc. will continue to support its existing channel partners in the U.S. and Canada. “Our resellers have done a good job of promoting our products and training,” said Doug Oby, Eastern Area Sales Manager. “We look forward to providing them with better support and establishing a better overall presence within this market.”
Meanwhile, MSAB Inc.’s training services will be provided nationwide. Training, which will be offered both at on-site locations and online, will cover each of the company’s major products as well as significant trends in the mobile forensics field.
