Two new partnerships will provide police in the United Kingdom with better access to cybercrime fighting tools. Fernico Europe Ltd. and Technology Risk Ltd. have joined with American firm Vere Software: Fernico to re-sell the Internet investigation software WebCase, TRL to incorporate WebCase methodology in its training…The partnerships are significant in that WebCase promotes legal defensibility of online investigative work. It is built on accepted digital forensic methodology, but does not require the years of training which forensic examiners must acquire. As a result, it supports the overall accountability goals and standards to which Soca, the PCeU, and ACPO are working to adhere.
