Upcoming Webinar: Trust But Verify: Digital Artifact Edition

How to make sure you’re telling the whole truth using supporting evidence in an investigation.

Revealing the truth is our job as forensic analysts. Artifact parsing, in its efficiency, is helpful, but has the potential to steer us down the wrong path and can alter the course of investigations. Corroborating and validating evidentiary findings brings to light the real story behind each case.

By using supporting artifacts techniques, we can avoid misleading clues in investigations and be confident we are telling the entire timeline of what actually happened in specific incidents.

During this webinar, forensic experts will walk through two specific scenarios where a presumptive analysis may lead you in one direction or not provide the full picture, but a more conclusive analysis reveals the truth.

Join BlackBag’s Director of Training, Matt McFadden, and Forensic Engineer, Lexi Michaels, as they walk through these scenarios to show how digging past surface level evidence with artifact parsing can benefit investigations.

Forensic Focus 12th January 2023 3:00 am

Just like your current holiday shopping for last minute presents a lot of the good stuff has gone off the shelves already. You reach to the back and find the toy nobody really wanted but it’s the thought that counts, you stare down at Si and Desi’s Holiday Special 2022 podcast.

Please join these two as they lament over the year that was, discuss all the things they didn’t do but promise they will do them next year, query whether putting a NAS in the storage of a roller door is a good idea, and finally arrive at what they’re looking forward to bringing you in the new year.
