Digital Forensics and Incident Response Consultant

The Role

This role involves conducting cyber breach investigations, performing forensic and malware analysis, and supporting incident response engagements. Day to day, consultants handle threat hunting, post-compromise assessments, network analysis, chain of custody documentation, and producing detailed reports suitable for management, clients, or court presentation.

Skills & Experience

Candidates require hands-on experience with DFIR tools including Autopsy, EnCase, FTK, Access Data, and IDA Pro. Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge, threat intelligence integration, and indicator-of-compromise development are essential. Experience writing incident reports and, where required, providing expert testimony is also expected.
