The Role
This position involves examining electronic media — including hard drives, storage devices, mobile phones, and other digital devices — in support of sensitive criminal investigations for a federal government agency. Examiners apply forensic tools and analytical techniques to recover and interpret evidence suitable for use in legal proceedings.
Skills & Experience
Candidates should bring hands-on experience with a range of digital forensic tools and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. A background in cyber investigations or threat analysis is valued, and familiarity with DoD operating environments is beneficial. Relevant certifications in digital forensics or cybersecurity are expected.
