Digital Forensic R&D Engineer

The Role

This position sits within a digital forensics research and development team, focusing on designing and refining acquisition methodologies across iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and IoT platforms. The engineer liaises with operational forensic teams, advises on appropriate extraction methods, and collaborates with developers to build and deploy app decoders and analysis tools.

Skills & Experience

Candidates should have grounding in operating systems, file systems, flash memory, and internal database structures. Familiarity with Android Studio, Java, or Xcode is beneficial, as is experience with commercial forensic tooling. Relevant digital forensics certifications and scripting knowledge are advantageous but not mandatory requirements.
