Cyber Network Defense Analyst II

The Role

This position supports front-line cyber defence and incident response operations within a federal programme protecting national communications infrastructure. Day to day, analysts conduct Tier 2 and Tier 3 digital forensics and incident response investigations, perform proactive threat hunting, and deliver both remote and on-site technical assistance to assess and resolve security breaches.

Skills & Experience

Candidates require demonstrable experience in digital forensics and incident response at an advanced tier level, with practical ability across host-based, network-based, and cloud-based cybersecurity analysis. Familiarity with threat hunting methodologies and the ability to assess breach severity in high-pressure environments are essential to this role.
