The Role
The analyst conducts independent digital forensic investigations within a Security Operations Centre environment, securing evidence for disciplinary and criminal proceedings while maintaining full legal compliance. Responsibilities include liaising with law enforcement agencies, coordinating complex incidents, contributing to IT security reporting, and providing expert advisory support across internal projects.
Skills & Experience
Candidates require a degree in computer science, IT security, or equivalent, plus at least four years in IT security, ideally within a CERT or SOC. Deep knowledge of network infrastructure, Windows and Linux systems, and incident response is essential. Recognised forensic certifications such as GCFA or GCFE are expected, alongside fluent English and near-native German.
