£49,940 to £54,649 plus a Location allowance of £1,639. You will receive £49,940 the band minimum. Progress to the band maximum of £54,649 will be via incremental progression.
Digital Forensics (DF) have secured a large investment to evolve services and increase capacity. DF are recruiting a Digital Forensic Laboratory Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the central Digital Devices Laboratory at Lambeth HQ. They work closely with the Senior Lead and two Digital Forensics Managers as well as Senior Specialists from both the phone and computer teams.
The role holders’ core tasks will be to manage resources and staffing, monitor performance, drive efficiencies and oversee the continued professional development of staff. They will write laboratory policy documents and procedures for incorporation into the quality management system.
They will work to ensure ISO 17025 process and procedures are implemented and adhered to. The role holder will also undertake analysis of management information – the reports they generate from this will be presented at director level and will impact on future laboratory focus and investment decisions.
The role holder will have direct line management responsibility of the Band N Digital Forensic Specialists in the Lab and will work closely with the Senior Digital Forensic Specialists (Band M) to develop the Band Ns and develop good practice in the lab.
