KordaMentha

Sydney, New South Wales

Onsite · Junior · Full-time

The Role

Graduates work within a forensic technology group on real client engagements across the Asia-Pacific region. Day-to-day duties include forensic imaging of computers, smartphones and removable media, conducting digital investigations, assisting with evidence preservation, and supporting internal, legal, regulatory and law enforcement enquiries.

Skills & Experience

The role utilises industry-standard forensic tools including FTK, Cellebrite, Magnet Axiom and X-Ways. No prior professional experience is required; candidates should be final-year students or recent graduates with an interest in digital forensics, data analysis and investigative methodology. Training and study assistance are provided.

Those with an analytical mindset, an interest in high-profile investigations, and a desire to develop technical forensic expertise within a structured, mentored environment will thrive here.

Typical advertised salary for Digital Forensics roles in Australia: A$108,000–A$138,000 (median A$128,000 — from 16 recent listings analysed by Forensic Focus).
