Senior Security Incident Responder

This role sits within a global cyber defence function and centres on leading end-to-end security incident response across a complex, geographically distributed enterprise environment. Day to day, the successful candidate coordinates response activities across all incident phases, acquires and analyses data from diverse sources, and communicates findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The position also involves reviewing past incidents to identify improvement opportunities, updating runbooks and guidelines, and contributing to toolset development through scripting and custom automation. Collaboration with Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, and partner teams is integral, as is participation in an on-call rota supporting round-the-clock coverage. The role suits an experienced incident responder with strong analytical skills, a grasp of complex attack patterns, and the ability to operate effectively in multicultural, multinational settings. A Master’s degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity is preferred.
