Senior Researcher
Cellebrite
Petah Tikva, Center District
The Role
This position centres on deep forensic analysis of third-party mobile applications, involving reverse engineering of binary formats, custom encryption protocols, and obfuscated code. Researchers translate their findings into production-quality C# code deployed in real-world investigative contexts, working within an AI-assisted environment that includes LLMs and custom tool integrations.
Skills & Experience
Strong reverse engineering capability is essential, covering both static and dynamic analysis techniques. Familiarity with tools such as IDA and JADX is expected, alongside solid C# development skills. Experience decoding undocumented binary formats and custom encryption schemes is central to the work. AI-augmented research workflows are also part of the environment.
Who It Suits
This role suits a technically driven researcher who approaches encrypted databases and undocumented formats as problems to be solved methodically. Someone comfortable operating at the intersection of low-level analysis and production software development, who thrives in a fast-moving team pushing the boundaries of mobile application forensics, will find it a strong fit.
