The Role

The investigator examines and analyses digital evidence from computers, mobile devices, cloud platforms, and other digital media in support of criminal defence proceedings. Working alongside case managers, solicitors, and barristers, the role involves acquiring, interpreting, and presenting forensic findings impartially in accordance with established regulatory standards.

Skills & Experience

Candidates require a minimum of three years of digital forensics experience in either the public or private sector, with demonstrable knowledge of criminal investigations, legal proceedings, and expert witness work. Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards and the Forensic Science Regulator’s Code of Practice is expected.
