The Role
This position involves conducting frontline triage of digital exhibits to determine the appropriate investigative pathway for each case. The work requires early examination of devices and materials, some of which may be distressing in nature, while maintaining accurate contemporaneous records and managing a personal caseload with minimal supervision.
Skills & Experience
Candidates should have practical knowledge of computer hardware and software, strong numeracy and literacy skills, and a background in digital forensics either through direct experience, a forensic capacity role, or a relevant degree. Good communication skills and the ability to travel across force locations are essential.
