The Role
This is a senior evidential forensics position based full-time in a UK laboratory. Day to day, the analyst conducts mobile and computer examinations, produces court-admissible reports for criminal and civil proceedings, peer reviews junior colleagues’ casework, manages an independent caseload, and contributes to the lab’s quality management and training activities.
Skills & Experience
Candidates require strong hands-on digital forensics experience across mobile and computer platforms, solid knowledge of ACPO guidelines, ISO 17025, and the FSR Code of Practice, and the ability to produce clear written reports for non-technical audiences such as solicitors and juries. Experience in defence analysis and expert witness work is advantageous.
