The Role
This position sits within a digital forensics unit, where investigators examine computers and mobile devices to recover evidence across a range of criminal cases. Day-to-day work includes managing technical investigations, attending search warrants, interviewing suspects, supporting major incident teams, and delivering training to colleagues on hi-tech crime matters.
Skills & Experience
Candidates should have practical experience in digital forensics, including the examination and reconstruction of computer data from a variety of devices. Familiarity with data recovery methods, computer systems, and relevant software is essential. Working towards or holding accreditation with the Council for the Registration of Forensic Practitioners is expected.
