Digital Forensic Investigator – Forensics (CTPSE)

The Role

Working within a counter-terrorism digital investigations unit, the successful candidate conducts in-depth forensic examinations of digital devices and cloud-based sources, attends search warrants, seizes and triages evidence, and prepares technical reports and witness statements that directly support major prosecutions and court proceedings.

Skills & Experience

Candidates should hold proven digital forensics experience or a relevant degree in Computer Forensics or Computer Science. Key technical knowledge spans networking, PC architecture, operating systems, data storage, and internet technologies, alongside familiarity with ISO 17025 quality standards. Training in chip-off examination, mobile repair, and network investigation is provided.
