The Role
This office-based position within an established forensic laboratory involves conducting mobile and computer examinations for law enforcement, government, and legal clients. Analysts manage their own caseload, produce court-admissible reports, conduct defence work, peer review junior colleagues’ output, and contribute to the lab’s quality management system.
Skills & Experience
Candidates require solid practical experience in both mobile and computer forensics, familiarity with ISO 17025, ACPO guidelines, and the FSR Code of Practice, and the ability to produce evidential reports for non-technical audiences. Experience defending methodology under scrutiny and handling complex or defence casework independently is essential.
