The Role
Working within an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory in North Yorkshire, the analyst conducts forensic examinations across computers, mobile devices, CCTV systems, audio recordings and cloud-based services for UK law enforcement clients. Responsibilities include evidence capture and analysis, producing court-ready forensic reports and statements, and supporting proficiency testing services.
Skills & Experience
A degree in digital forensics or computer science is preferred, alongside practical experience with forensic hardware and software tools. Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS file systems is essential. Experience in mobile device forensics, computer forensics or CCTV/video forensics is highly desirable. Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17043 and the Forensic Science Regulators Code of Practice is advantageous.
