Expanding GrayKey With Exynos Support For Android

Mobile digital forensics is critical to the success of law enforcement agencies in investigating and solving today’s criminal investigations. Mobile devices provide a wealth of digital evidence. However, obtaining access to this critical evidence can be daunting – especially when it comes to the plethora of Android devices available today.

GrayKey is widely known and well regarded in the Digital Forensic Incident Response (DFIR) market for its speed, depth, and breadth of mobile data extraction of iOS devices. Last month Grayshift changed this industry perception by introducing Android device support on its flagship GrayKey solution starting with the Samsung S20 and S9 with the Qualcomm chipset.

Today, we are pleased to announce that Grayshift has already expanded Android support to include the Samsung S20 with the Exynos chipset – giving customers across Europe and Asia-Pacific the ability to obtain Full File System access from consent devices. This capability will soon be extended to the Samsung S9 as well.

When consent access is granted, either through a search warrant or with an individual’s consent, GrayKey can effectively extract the Full File System within hours while maintaining possession and ensuring chain of custody. With GrayKey investigators can gain immediate access a myriad of evidentiary data to accelerate investigations.

At Grayshift, our Research and Development team focuses on the latest iOS and Android releases to maintain continued access to the latest versions in what is a rapidly changing and evolving landscape. Our mission is to provide law enforcement with the most robust mobile forensic support available, enabling lawful access and extraction in order to swiftly resolve criminal investigations and ensure public safety. Grayshift is leading the way with the most innovative research into new access techniques. Stay tuned for future updates as we continue to expand GrayKey’s support for Android devices.
