Security Analyst: Forensic Investigations

The Role

This position conducts forensic investigations across a large financial institution, covering areas such as employee relations matters, email forensics, and legal holds. Day-to-day work includes reviewing logs, analysing data, creating documentation, supporting data loss prevention efforts, and helping to address security risks and vulnerabilities.

Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience conducting forensic examinations using lab-based examiner machines is required. A background in incident response, digital forensics, and cybersecurity is expected. Preferred certifications include the IACIS CFCE and SANS/GIAC forensics credentials. Experience reviewing security controls and advising on procedures is also valued.
