Kevin has also co-authored two books on responding to security breaches.

In addition to the traditional digital investigations and mobile forensics tracks, in 2013 the conference will offer content aimed at the growing community of corporate investigators.

“We are thrilled to host the Techno Security and Forensic Investigations Conference in 2013,” said Dr James Kent, Nuix’s global head of investigations. “With ever-increasing volumes of data held on myriad devices, investigators must be able to search for electronic evidence at any scale, wherever it is located. This is what Nuix was built for.”

Nuix’s abilities to address multiple evidence sources at once and automatically extract intelligence such as credit card numbers, social security numbers, email and websites that have been visited have seen it become a superior alternative to legacy data forensics applications.

Nuix 4.2, released in January 2013, gives investigators the ability to examine Windows registry files; full and partial deleted files, slack space and alternate data streams; Cellebrite and Micro Systemation XRY mobile device images ; and Android device call, voicemail and message databases.
