Law enforcement has looked for ways to acquire data from drones that perform an illegal activity, especially GPS location data such as altitude, a direction of travel, speed, rotor speed, and facial recognition data. Armed with this type of data law enforcement can paint a picture of not only the flight of the drone in question but also all the historical flights that the user had.
