The Role
The successful candidate serves as a hybrid IR and digital forensics specialist, handling live incident response, forensic investigations, and post-mortem reporting across enterprise and AWS cloud environments. Responsibilities include on-call rotation, threat hunting, alert triage, SOC support, and developing security policies and procedures for a government client.
Skills & Experience
Eight or more years of experience in incident response, APT management, and forensic analysis is required. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in Windows memory forensics, malware reverse engineering (x86/x64), mobile device forensics, network protocol analysis, registry analysis, forensic imaging, and tools such as SIFT and REMnux. Cloud IR experience in AWS is preferred.
