Digital Forensic Examiner

The Role

The examiner conducts forensic collections and analyses involving laptops, desktops, mobile devices, email and messaging platforms, supporting internal Legal, HR, Fraud, Corporate Security and Information Security teams. Responsibilities include maintaining chain-of-custody documentation, delivering defensible investigative results, and collaborating with stakeholders across a large regulated financial institution.

Skills & Experience

Candidates need at least two years of hands-on digital forensics or closely related IR experience, with strong evidence-handling and chain-of-custody knowledge. Familiarity with forensic platforms such as EnCase, Magnet AXIOM, Cellebrite, FTK or X-Ways is advantageous, as is experience supporting eDiscovery, litigation or insider-threat investigations.
