Senior Incident Response Consultant, Mandiant, Google Cloud

This senior-level role sits within a leading threat intelligence and incident response practice, supporting clients through the full lifecycle of complex security incidents. Day to day, the consultant conducts forensic investigations across disk, memory, and network log data, performs malware triage, hunts for active threats, and guides clients through containment, remediation, and crisis management. Engagements often involve high-profile, technically demanding situations requiring clear communication with both technical teams and executive stakeholders. The position suits an experienced practitioner with at least five years of end-to-end incident response work and strong familiarity with Linux and enterprise security architecture. Cloud forensics experience and relevant cloud platform certifications are advantageous, as is comfort with programming and CTF competitions. Occasional travel is required. Strong project management and the ability to translate complex findings for diverse audiences are essential.
