The Role

The specialist independently acquires and analyses digital evidence from mobile devices using a range of interfaces, secures data from cloud services and networks, and prepares forensically sound reports suitable for court proceedings. The role also involves testifying as an expert witness, developing bespoke forensic software tools, and advising operational police units during search operations.

Skills & Experience

A Bachelor’s or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required, along with at least three years of relevant practical experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of mobile operating systems (Android, iOS, Windows), databases (SQLite, MySQL), networking, and proficiency in at least two programming or scripting languages such as C++, Java, or PHP.
