The Role

This position sits within a specialist forensic research group focused on reverse engineering third-party mobile applications. Day to day, researchers perform static and dynamic analysis, dissect binary formats and custom encryption protocols, and translate findings into production-quality C# code deployed in real-world investigative contexts.

Skills & Experience

The role calls for strong reverse engineering skills and familiarity with tools such as IDA and JADX. Experience decoding obfuscated binaries, analysing encrypted databases, and writing production C# code is essential. An understanding of AI-assisted workflows, including LLMs and Model Context Protocol integrations, is also valued.
