The Role
This position involves conducting forensic examinations of mobile devices, computers, SIM cards, and memory cards, recovering extant, deleted, and encrypted data using established methodologies. Work is carried out in line with ISO/IEC 17025 and the Forensic Science Regulator’s Code of Practice, with findings reported for intelligence and criminal justice purposes.
Skills & Experience
Candidates require hands-on experience in digital forensics, particularly mobile device examination. Familiarity with industry-standard forensic tools, an understanding of evidential continuity, and working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and FSR CoP accreditation frameworks are all essential to performing effectively in this role.
