The Role

This hybrid position, based in Washington, DC, supports a federal judiciary programme. Analysts conduct digital forensic examinations, performing disk, memory and registry analysis, applying industry-standard tools to investigate and preserve digital evidence in accordance with federal guidelines and chain of custody requirements.

Skills & Experience

Candidates need a minimum of three years in digital forensics and a relevant degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. Proficiency with tools such as Axiom, EnCase, FTK, X-Ways and Volatility is essential, alongside strong knowledge of file systems and OS artefacts including SRUM, Shellbags and Prefetch. An active Public Trust clearance is required.
