AOUSC – Forensic and Malware Lead

The Role

This position leads digital forensics and malware analysis operations within a large federal security operations environment. Day to day, the work spans static and dynamic malware analysis, forensic examination of disk and memory artifacts, live system investigation, and close collaboration with incident response teams to support containment and recovery efforts.

Skills & Experience

Candidates must hold an active Public Trust clearance and a relevant degree, with at least five years of incident response experience in large-scale SOC environments. Proficiency with EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, and Volatility is required, alongside Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel. An active GCFA, GREM, CFCE, or OSED certification is expected, as is familiarity with federal chain of custody standards.
