The Role

This position involves conducting digital forensic investigations and malware analysis in support of a Federal information security programme. Day-to-day work includes acquiring and examining evidence from endpoints, servers, cloud environments, and removable media, reverse engineering malicious software, maintaining chain of custody, and collaborating with incident responders, threat hunters, and SOC teams.

Skills & Experience

Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Tier 2 Public Trust clearance. Required expertise spans forensic acquisition methodologies, memory and file system analysis, malware reverse engineering, and attacker technique assessment. Experience with registry artifacts, event logs, cloud forensics, and virtual environments is expected, alongside a strong grounding in industry-standard forensic practices.
