Incident Response (IR) Tech Lead

The Role

This senior position leads a tiered incident response function supporting national-level federal infrastructure around the clock. Day-to-day work includes managing escalated incidents, coordinating cross-functional response efforts, conducting digital forensics across host, network, cloud and mobile platforms, performing malware analysis, and driving threat-hunting operations against advanced persistent threats.

Skills & Experience

Candidates need 12 years of cybersecurity experience with at least five in operational leadership, plus hands-on expertise with SIEMs, SOAR platforms, cloud security tooling, and forensic acquisition following NIST SP 800-86 guidelines. Skills in malware reverse engineering, custom detection signature creation, and insider threat investigation support are expected.
