Digital Forensics Specialist

The Role

Working on a variable-assignment basis, the specialist conducts forensic examinations of computers, mobile devices and networks, preserving and analysing digital evidence to support investigations into security incidents, fraud and compliance matters. Responsibilities include timeline reconstruction, chain-of-custody management, and producing clear technical reports suitable for clients and legal proceedings.

Skills & Experience

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with industry-standard forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite or X-Ways, alongside strong knowledge of evidence preservation methodology. Professional certifications such as GCFA, EnCE or CFCE are advantageous. A background in professional services, risk management, law enforcement or investigative environments is beneficial.
