The Role
This position sits at the intersection of digital forensics and AI research, requiring the specialist to translate real investigative workflows into product requirements, validate detection capabilities against examiner standards, define evidence-handling protocols including chain of custody and audit trails, and contribute to provenance and watermarking roadmap decisions.
Skills & Experience
A background in law enforcement or forensic examination is essential. Familiarity with multimedia forensics, deepfake and AI-generated content analysis, court-ready reporting standards, and emerging provenance frameworks such as C2PA, JPEG Trust, and SynthID is expected. Experience building forensic test sets from real-world material is advantageous.
